Spring term at Meadow Brook

We certainly packed a lot into this term. We have been very lucky with weather, not having too many wet and horrible days! Ethan brought one of his tractors for a visit and the children spent measuring themselves against how big the wheels were. The Bluebells enjoyed extending their small world play being sitting in the tractor.

Sunflowers had a taster session of Judo in the Free school hall - exploring how their bodies moved in different ways and listening for Keith`s instructions.

World book day gave us the chance to snuggle down in cosy clothes to read stories together.

I brought my puppy Koa in for a visit to extend learning in the bluebell room, all children loved being able to pet her.

The youngest of children had a visit to the park where they challenged themselves to climb the slide the wrong way, this led to them seeing their reflection in the metal. Ella then extended this learning by creating shadows with the projector.

The team from Saxmundham fire station brought along the appliance for the children to explore, we seem to have a few budding fireman in the Sunflower room.
